about Sukhoi Su-34
The Sukhoi Su-34 (NATO reporting name: Fullback)[7] is a Russian supersonic, two-seat, twin-engine, all-weather medium-range fighter-bomber/attack aircraft.[8][9][10][11] It first flew in 1990, for the Soviet Air Force, and entered service in 2014 with the Russian Air Force.[12]

Based on the Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker air superiority fighter, the Su-34 features an armored cockpit with side-by-side seating for two pilots.[13] The Su-34 is designed primarily for tactical deployment against land and sea targets (tactical bombing/strike/interdiction role, including against small and mobile targets) in single and group missions during the day and night, in favorable and adverse weather conditions and in hostile environments with countermeasures and electronic warfare (EW) deployed, as well as for aerial reconnaissance.[8][14] The Su-34 is planned to eventually replace the Su-24 tactical strike fighter and the Tu-22M long-range bomber.[13]
