IL-96: A four-engine wide-body passenger aircraft developed in the late Soviet Union, similar to the Boeing 777, McDonnell Douglas MD11, and Airbus A340 of the same period. @Graingy For one thing, there were other four-engined aircraft like the A340 that preceded the 777's success, and for another, the PS90A didn't have much thrust and pecification reason is right too because the IL86/96 is world's widest passenger plane before the Boeing 777
