This, is Bell Lands' new interceptor/all weather
fighter Aircraft.

Development

The program first started in 1949, between three aircraft companies: Merikan, Sarvorech, and Detrinita. Merikan came up with the M-14, a variable-sweep wing design with the ability to carry two IR missiles, made to get up close to enemy bombers. Sarvorech came up with a traditional swept wing design, and would carry 6 SARH missiles, to strike bombers from really far away, and Detrinita, came up with a tailless delta wing design, with 4 SARH missiles, and 2 30mm cannons, made both for close, and far ranges. They also ended up winning the contract, as Bell Lands saw the potential to use this as a potential replacement for the Super Lion, along with the jet just being really good

Design

The D.250 has a tailless delta wing design, along with a pair of canards on the front section, just behind the radar. This was to help with the aircraft's problem of pitching down, and with minor adjustments, it worked, especially at high speeds. It also has a tandem seat configuration, with the front seat being the pilot's, and the back being the weapon operator's. A separate weapon operator was seen as necessary, as the D-Mark 20 has a highly complicated design, especially with the S.A.R.H. system
