LKM Model 6d "Se Hiisi" (The Devil) Light Tank

The LKM Model 6d Light Tank is Se Suomi Imperiumi's (The Finland Empire's) most frequently fielded assault vehicle. Twin turbine powered and enough fuel to get it where the battle is raging, and armored to get through it no less, this tank is a power to be reckoned with - even if it is a light tank. Capable of great speeds on level ground this rugged vehicle can traverse some of the most difficult land terrain with full forward and reverse power and an excellent chassis for steering. Although it does have an optional float assembly that can be fitted to it in the field once it reaches land it just jettisons it to retain its remarkable performance - thus this vehicle is NOT amphibious under ordinary circumstances.

One of the greatest features of the LKM Model 6d Light Tank, nicknamed "Se Hiisi" or "The Devil" by its operators, is its highly angled armor allowing her to endure far more punishment than most other light tanks from a frontal assault.

Armed with a rapid-fire 30 mm cannon as its primary armament, a pair of rocket launchers slaved to the cannon's angle of aim, and a pair of 12.7 mm Gatling Guns mounted beside the turret to sweep away enemy infantry and clear forest which may be concealing enemies. It is only a matter of a week or two before landing craft will be delivering these little monsters to the shores of Bornholm.

Note, this tank lacks treads at the bottom but that's usually concealed in shadow anyway. (From the tanks I've looked at those that have the wheels barely sticking through the treads tend to get hung up on rough terrain - this beastie doesn't!)

Directions of use;
Throttle up to 15-20%.
Pitch up ("S" on my keyboard) to go forward or pitch down ("W" on my keyboard) to slow down or stop via reverse thrust.

Steering is controlled through Roll, A to go left, D to go right. (No thrust is applied for this, it's purely through the wheels.)

Controlling the weapon systems.

AG 1 - activates the turret rotator, use the VTOL slider then deactivate and center it.

AG 2 - activates the gun and rocket pods elevation rotators. Beware, you can blow yourself up if you point too far down and fire off a rocket. While I have not tested it, you may be able to fire down over the side when aiming down a hill or cliff face. Center the slider and deactivate before returning the turret to it's normal position or you will damage yourself.

Finally, I hope you enjoy this tank as much as I did in building and playing with it. I've made the journey from Yeager to Bandit several times now and never can resist blowing up the bridge after I've passed it with the rocket launchers. This is my first non-aircraft build! XD Kudos to whomever designed the cannon barrel which was stashed away in my subassemblies among other types!
