CR2-M1 (Hellhound)

210 WhiteWolf08  2.5 years ago

a propeller baised aircraft with vtol capabilitys making it extreemly flexible, and vaiable for any job. the CR2-M1 boasts a huge fuel capacity and T.T.W. ratios, and is capable of reaching mach 1. it will take some time to learn how to controll this effectively as i am limeted to the groups i can set. [CAUTION] in certain scenarios the roll and pitch will invert at the extremities. im not sure why it will do this and i cant find out so fly at your own peril. (tutorial in comments)

I should also mention it currently has a problem with spawning anywhere other than uss beast, but it can go anywhere once you've safely transitioned the propellers [any tips or solutions are welcome] (edit) dropping the blade diameter to 303 will fix the spawning problem.

    [Controls] <1>ATA <2>ATG <3>Countermeasures <4>Lights
    <5>Canopie <6>winch/mag
    <7>VTOL <8>Pitch

    [Tutorial]
<Takeoff> disengage group 8, and engage 7 from the neutral position on the VTOL. Next pull the VTOL bar to the bottom and disengage group 7 when the propellers are facing up. Return the VTOL to neutral, and engage group 8. Finally increase throttle to 5%, and slowly raise the bar of the vtol controls it won't take much to lift off so be careful.

<Transition> it's best to do this at a low propeller pitch. Ensure you remember where you set the pitch of your prop, and disengage group 8. Once you've reached 115m/s, bring the vtol bar to the bottom, and engage group 7. Carefully bring the vtol bar to neutral and disengage 7. Return the vtol bar to the position you had it before transition re engage 8 and adjust to your liking. To transfer back follow the steps in vice versa.

@RDAdesigns I don't get an option to rotate the hinge unless your talking about rotating the whole thing in witch case I dont have a way to properly mount it to where the prop could connect without being off center or colliding with the wing mount

@WhiteWolf08 if you just rotate the hinge holding the prop vertically 90 degrees you'll have the props already in VTOL position for take off and you can spawn anywhere.
