FB-40M
"Marine Falcon"
FB-40M "Marine Falcon" is a fighter bomber designed and manufactured by Icarus weaponry during 1940s for the imperial lochiwian navy.
The aircraft entered design phase in 1933 when the imperial navy was rapidly expanding and was in need for a new carrier capable fighter bomber. The requirements were good speed, survivability and fire power. Primary role would be attacking land based targets like fortified positions and armored columns. During the attacks, the aircraft was also expected to engage enemy aircrafts.
A few designs were proposed and after careful consideration, YFB-40 was chosen. YFB-40 featured a folding wing and something that was new and untested at that time, a turboprop contra rotating engine. Unlike regular piston powered engines, these were powerd by a gas turbine engine. And had two sets of propellers spinning at the opposite direction. Compared to piston engines, they have higher power to weight ratio which allowed shorter takeoffs. However, they are more expensive and more complicated to maintain.
By 1935, first prototype took to the skies. The aircraft could reach speeds higher than 900km/h and was maneuverable enough that it wouldn't be a sitting duck against any potential hostile aircrafts. Even if it were out maneuvered, it was still faster than most fighters at that time. So outrunning was still an option.
In 1938, lochiwa would attack nekoshima, a nation oceans away from lochiwa. For icarus, this was a great opportunity to test YFB-40. so twenty prototypes were handed over to the navy. These prototypes saw extensive combat in nekoshima. Five of which were lost in combat. Three of them were lost to anti aircraft fire and the other two in dogfights against the much more maneuverable nekoshiman fighters. Analyzing the prototypes that survived and the feedbacks from it's pilots proved to be really valuable. And in 1940, the production variants entered mass production and was officially inducted into service. The production variant had better protection, slightly higher speed and a pair of detachable booster pods for rocket assisted take off.

AG1 - Canopy
AG2 - -/-
AG3 - Combat flaps
AG4 - Navigation lights
AG5 - Auto trim
AG6 - Fold wings
AG7 - Deploy arresting hook
AG8 - Switch between normal and VR mode (Explained below)
Flight modes
• While AG8 is active, you can activate combat flaps, cockpit lights, nav lights, landing lights, auto trim through activation groups.
• while AG8 is deactivate, you have to follow a procedure to start the aircraft (not exactly accurate but oh well.....)
• System power (25)
• Fuel pump (19) wait till the gauge hits 9
• Hydraulic pump (20) wait till the gauge hits 9
• Ignition (7)
• Canopy(AG1) , wing fold(AG6) and arresting hook(AG7) is still activated via ag. Nav lights(24), combat flaps(31), landing lights(22) and auto trim(21) is activated via their switches.
Take off and Landing
• Throttle up to 100%. The boosters will engage and detach after 10 seconds automatically. Wait till speed is above 230km/h and pitch up. Flaps are not much help here. Helps to keep a nose up attitude.
• Line up with runway/carrier and reduce throttle to 10%. Use air brakes to slow down. Touch down at around 250km/h. If on carrier, deploy arresting hook and try to land rear gear first. Don't brake hard after touch down. Slow down slowly. Unless you want to kiss the ground.

I'm afraid it's been...........three months.........
Well this took a while. Not because it was complicated or anything. I'm just.........lazy.
I kinda took a long brake from sp. Probably burn out or something. But on the bright side, it looks much better now than before. And I was able redo some stuff that I thought could have been better.
Anyways.....that's pretty much it.
Kept you waiting, huh?

I honestly have no idea what's going on. Somebody said that first on discord and I thought it was probably an isolated incident. Stand by
I'll get help
@Skykid028 just directly told @OverlordPrime and he's currently cursing lol anyhoo, he's trying to figure out what happened cos this does seem to happen only to him
@Skykid028 @AuroraBrooke it seems to be teething problems for the new download system
@BoredDeffy yeah it's saying something about an internet issue
@Skykid028 Does it say something about internet connection? I got that one
Not sure why but this aircraft is undownloadable
@AuroraBrooke same here, super weird i've never seen that happen before.
@dabestsock idk wat the heck is going on…
@OverlordPrime can you fix the problem with not letting us upload the plane
@AuroraBrooke me too
