Jet. F. Mk.1 f 'Guardian'

15 B3nj1  9.4 years ago

The Guardian was the first Jet aircraft operated by the Krakabloa Air Arm. Developed from the airframe of the 'Defender' propellor driven fighter, it is rather primitive in design. Entering service mid way through the War of Union its arrival prompted the Wright Isles to begin their own jet programme.

The Mark 1 Guardian was tasked with intercepting enemy 'Spider' Bomber aircraft. From the outset the Mk.1 was outperformed by late marks of the 'Saviour' fighter aircraft, but could hold it's own against the 'Nipper'. It's powerful armament was enough to quickly dispatch any enemy aircraft.
