Flying proof that super glueing four fans to a bath tub can result in a functional aircraft
The D-2064 is a hypothetical production version of the X-22, a ducted fan aircraft that was primarily experimental. The D-2064 is not only larger then it's experimental counterpart, but also would have a higher cargo capacity, significantly more so. The D-2064 is also a bit more streamline then the X-22. The plane, based on its title, was probably intended as a VTOL transport for all branches of the military(Tri-service).
Controls
- Throttle for engine power
- Landing Gear for rotating the Fans
- AG8 to disable gyro
- Enable Gyro before turning on landing gear when landing.
Notes
- This build can with or without the gyro on, but it rolls a little without the gyro.
- This used to have non hidden wings in the fans, but when transitioning to landing they cause too much instability.
