The NiD 72 was an improved version of the NiD 52 from 1929. It had about 200kg less weight and flew a little bit faster. Some of these were bought by the air forces of Belgium and Brazil. During the Constitutional Revolution, a Brazilian Civil War in 1932, two NiD 72 were heavily used.
