On March 11th, 2023, an eBay seller called Saratheseller was selling a real Lockheed L-2011 Starliner of American Airlines listed for only $ 89,000 USD, located at Dallas-Fort Worth Airport. After a week of being sold, the listing was removed due to an eBay violation regarding planes. The account was terminated around 19 days after the listing

Takeoff
- Set the Throttle to 40% - 100%
- If the plane reaches around 150 knots. Move the elevator up
- Put the landing gear up

On June 13th 2004. American Airlines Flight 193, flying from São Paulo to Miami, was the first L-2011 to be delivered, caused a crash due to the You are an idiot virus. It is also the first Long-haul aircraft to recive malware. At 6:04 pm, some hackers attempted to control the plane, making dangerous loops, barrel rolls and upside-down loops causing all the passengers to all die. During the event. All pilots attempted to regain control due to the virus. At 6:06 pm. All screens shut down and bricked the entire plane. After the first minute, the plane crashed. With only 1 surviving the incident
On the 20th of August 2023, Jetstar Lockheed L-2011 Numbered JST201, crashed due to an engine failure. Flying from Auckland to Lima.
