USS Idaho was the fourth ship of its class She was started in 1945 as a secret ww2 project but was postponed because of the end of ww2 she was finished in 1958 her first mission was to destroy Japanese bases along with USS Alaska Alaska was damaged and had to retreat Idaho fought to death she was hit by a salvo of 17 inch guns nothing did nothing then 7 torpedoes again nothing she completed her mission with minor damage that would be fatal for her because she was so thought they thought that she didn't need repairs her second mission (1961) was her last because of the damage there was a weak spot when she attacked one torpedo bomber from the carrier Kaga hit that spot guess what it was the ammo rack the torpedo slipped through the hole and was there in till they went back to port they found it and when they touched it, it exploded killing 5 instantly the ship split in two and sank in 1 minute kill 500 leaving only 7 people alive
