This is what Megatron transformed into in the film Transformers (2007). The aircraft takes off with incredible ease (just don't try landing), bringing doom and destruction to whatever stands in its way. The armament consists of two "Evaporator" miniguns (see Bridge Destroying Gun for credits and weapon stats). To take off, rotate VTOL to one half notch below middle, throttle up to 100%, and keep the aircraft above the ground by rotating VTOL as needed (also use VTOL to keep the nose level). When airspeed exceeds 300 mph, use control surfaces. For best effect, at around 600 mph and above, use VTOL as maneuvering thrusters. Now, to answer your question. No, this does NOT transform. Unless you try to land.
