BoG F/A-32C Banshee "Lucy"

30.9k Spikerya  4.7 years ago

The ripple of sound being torn, the shock and awe of low-level high speeds- and the efficiency of hovering! The new Banshee rocks all of it with its eco-efficent VTOL jet engine which produces 105,000 horsepower at 12,500 rpm and produces 44,000 lbf of torque. With speeds greater than 900 mph at 25,000 feet, this beast really gets up and goes, as well as being able to go up to a operational max of 32,500 feet- which on a test flight allowed it to push 1,100+ mph. This may be only the prototype/mock up/test plane, but this pride of the General Naval Fleet sets the absolute standard for which any new fighter is set to become.

Specs:

Engine: 43,842.5 lbf torque at 12,500 rpm making 104,347.2 horsepower
Top speed: unknown- 1000+ mph (fastest was 1167 mph @ 31,433 ft)
Envelope: operational- 25,000-32,500 (emergency up to 50,000)
Armament: 6 hardpoints, with 2 long-range fuel tanks (do not ditch unless ABSOLUTELY NEEDED) and 1 stock wing gun.
Operations: Naval, frontline, STOL and VTOL capable. Stable flight, good maneuverability in turns with all-moving tailplanes/elevators.
Hints: If you want to maneuver fight, take off gyro with 8- makes it easier to stay on target.

Activations:
1 for landing lights
2 for marker lights/flight lights
3 for drop tanks
4 for airbrakes
5 for carrier hook
8 for gyro off/on (automatically on)

Lmk in the comments any suggestions for other fighters! Kinda in a plane mood rn XD

@SnEaKySnAkE speed counted, plus I meant a whole day as in 24 hours, not just from when I woke up till I fell asleep. I literally just counted for 24 hours and went to that number, bc I thought I could reach infinity. And in the end I just wrote down what it was and kept it pinned to my wall. Mom took it off my wall though a little while ago so I wrote it down on the site. I was kinda weird back then...
