146k Feanor  7.6 years ago
Auto Credit Based on Feanor's Penumbra Class Steamship

The Antumbra class is designed to supply oil and gas platforms beyond the range of helicopters.

Basically, helicopters or STOLs will land on the deck and be refueled for the final leg to the platform or land.

Either that or

An STOL lands on the deck and refuels. the passengers are transferred to a helicopter which takes them to the platform.

instructions:
VTOL slider: propeller pitch control.
Trim slider: Rudder. While the rudder can turn the ship quite quickly, the aircraft on deck will probably end up in the water.
list of issues:
When stopping or reversing, the propeller may get jammed. Change propeller pitch slowly and stop the propeller when doing so.
