The VAC-106 Swordfish was a pointed nose tailless fighter that served the FAAF until 1999. Flying at transonic speeds with a large engine on the bottom and sweep wings similar to the Lancer’s wings, it was considered futuristic, despite being a 3rd generation aircraft. It was designed as a carrier based aircraft that sent rockets down to the ground to penetrate any tanks or other land vehicles. It was very powerful, with the best pilot scoring 7 kills tank and 6 kills transport vehicle.
