This the Convair XF2Y-1 SEA DART is the only supersonic aircraft to date that can land and takeoff on water. 4 out of the 5 built survive today 3 being in nice shape and 1 needs a restoration(cough cough get on it smithsonian) the simpleplanes model flys real well and other then being slower its handles just like the real thing. Yes! it can takeoff and land in water i just suggest that you pratice water landings in the slower craft before tackling this
