THIS fighter-attacker is designed as a counterpart to the
French naval attacker Étendard and the Rapiers served in
the Navy of a fictional pacific country for nearly 40 years
since 1963 just as their French counterparts did. No one
likes to see subsonic fighters protecting the fleet, therefore
the country purchased four squadrons of F4J-Phantom from
the United States, resulting in the Rapiers serving as
professional naval-based attackers.
