Sokolov Sk.5 “Karlik"
”Karlik" (or "Karlík") is a Slavic name (Polish, Czech, Slovak) meaning "little Karl" or "little Charles,"
Definitely not a mig-15 clone.
The Sk.5 Karlik was Rusuta’s third attempt at developing a dedicated air-superiority fighter during the mid Entro-Ustrian war.
its design shares similarities with the real-world aircraft such as the MiG-15.
Compared to its real-life counterpart, the Sk.5 features a wider fuselage and a prominent dorsal spine, allowing for increased internal fuel capacity.
This gave the Karlik better endurance at the cost of absolute speed and climb performance.Armament consists of four 12.7mm machine guns.
While not the fastest aircraft of its time, the Karlik excels in sustained maneuvers and close-range combat.
The Sk.5 served as a direct rival to the Hoko T-10A-2 “Pine J,” representing Rusuta’s answer to Chrysa’s growing interceptor force.
