The Mikoyan MiG-37 (NATO reporting name: Scorpion Lady) is a twin-engine super-maneuverable fighter aircraft designed in the Soviet Union. Developed by the MikoWynn design bureau... as an air superiority fighter during the 1980s, for the replacement of the aging MiG 27. the MiG-37. It was developed to counter new U.S. fighters such as the McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle and the General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon. Because of the breakdown of the Soviet Union in the 1990s, this was never entered into Soviet Air Force. But with the upgrades on radars and fly-by-wire systems, it enters into Ukrainian Air force as a 4.5 generation fighter jet in 2023.
