I present to you.... my first aircraft that has custom thumbnails!!! (also, the first one that i made COMPLETLEY from scratch) I finally figured out how to do it! this is a fictional aircraft, a Soviet WW2 heavy interceptor. I have a soft spot for WW2 twin-engine heavy fighters that have blistering speed. Japan, the U.K., Germany, and the U.S. have made at least one of these, and while the soviets have made a high alt interceptor(the I-225), it only had one engine, and it was light. Very light. so, I thought, "the soviets only have the Tu-1 as their own twin engine heavy fighter, so why not make my own?" so here it is. The Sukhoi 21 "Disintegrate". the third picture is about it dying to a Ki-83, One of Japan's Heavy fighters, and its fastest. I based this one off the Ki-83, but with a few differentiating features. this aircraft is FICTIONAL. ---------------------------------------------------> The Sukhoi 21 "disintegrate" was a Soviet high altitude, twin engine heavy interceptor. when the Soviets found out the Ki-83, they wanted to create their own interceptor craft. During tests, the first prototype displayed an unusually high instability. They fixed it, and the instability turned into exceptional agility for a heavy interceptor, though it was quite sluggish at low speeds, particularly under 350 km/h. it featured 2 12500 horsepower Klimov K-88 Radial engines, with 2 superchargers on each engine, boosting its speed. it was one of the fastest aircraft of its time, comfortably reaching over 700 km/h in level flight. it featured 3 interceptor rockets, 2 20mm, 2 45mm, and 4 37mm cannons, giving it one of the heaviest, if not the heaviest armaments of any heavy interceptor aircraft. this plane has a gyro, though I doubt you'll need it.... I forgot to take it out. deactivate ag8 to deploy underside rudder, VTOL for flaps, ag1 for gyro. ENJOY!!!!
