The Robinson R22 is a small helicopter for two people and was produced by the Robinson Helicopter company. Thanks to its low acquisition and operating cost, the R22 has become the standard helicopter for pilot training. As a characteristic, it has a "Y" shaped cyclic control lever, facilitating access to the cabin. It uses a 4-cylinder horizontally opposed engine, powered by aviation gasoline.
