After an aircraft mechanic becomes stranded on a long beach before arriving at his location. He has to find a way back to safety. Nearby, a half buried P-38 lies on it's side. After 8 days of un-earthing and recovering, the mechanic unveils a half destroyed aircraft. With his knoweledge of aircraft and basic tools found nearby, he starts to form a plan. With only one of the engines of the P-38 still perhaps functional, he has to make do with only one side of the aircraft. While sepa arating one of the wing sections, he discoverd there was only one tank of fuel, and judging by ocean currents and star placement, the nearest large plot of land was located on enemy territory: Wright Ilses. With only basic tools availible, he finalises his aircraft using one engine and fusilage along with wings, leaving a heavy mess on stilts. Will it be able to survive the long trip without running out of fuel on the way?
