S-21 is a light shuttle designed for regular delivery missions. It is equipped with an intelligent landing system which can be used in regular landing or VTOL.

Instructions:

AG1: Main Engine.
AG2: Intelligent Landing System.
AG3: Vertical Taking off System.
AG4: Fold Wings.
AG8: HUD.
Trim: Pitch Trim.

Intelligent Landing System:

The intelligent landing system contains a plane self-balance function and a ground proximity buffer which can maintain your vertical touching speed at about 0.3 m/s. You can turn the landing system on whenever you need to land and whatever the landing pattern is, as long as you have reached your landing position or aimed at your runway. Then, you just need to slightly adjust the flight attitude or even do nothing and the system will accomplish the touching. Additionally, you may want to land vertically with folded wings sometimes to shorten the landing time and achieve a quick surface deploying.

*Because S-21 is not just designed for flying in the atmosphere (although you can only do this in SP), its aerodynamic performance is not so satisfactory. We highly recommend you to use VTOL pattern to achieve all of your landing and taking off. Especially, if you choose a regular way to take off, you may suffer from a relatively high V2. What’s more, please make sure the plane is in the intelligent landing mode or vertical taking off mode when it is in a low-speed situation, so the gyroscope can help you to manipulate your plane.
