Heinkel He-115 / C-I

60.8k Sergio666  1.5 years ago

Hello comrades, I have decided to rebuild some seaplanes from WW2, mainly I will focus on forgotten prototypes, and armed seaplanes.
To inaugurate this stage, I will resume my Kriegmarine project, with this Heinke He-115 C-I variant.
The original model was mainly used for observation and reconnaissance, taking bombing and torpedoing actions in the background. Although later various variants were created, with more powerful engines and additional weapons.
This version had a barrel similar to the Me262 a1/u4, with a medium rate of fire and a long range.
In my build, I had to remove the rear turret and the ladders that are on the floats, because I didn't want to go overboard with the parts count.
The armament is also different, since the original variant did not have bombs and torpedoes simultaneously.
The ignition system is similar to the ones I do for my recent airplanes (touch the first three buttons, then the fuel pump (simple accelerator), continue with the other buttons). I leave a Gift to explain myself better.
The truth is, it's been a while since I built a seaplane, but I liked building the fuselage of this plane, I had it in mind for a long time... I hope you like it, comrades, greetings!!
