T-62PM Mk. X

The Big One is finally here, the ultimate Mark Update Version of the T-62PM, Fully equipped with a Dozer Frontal Blade that enhances its ramming performance, but it decreases its Off-Road capabilities in certain types of terrain.

This is the mostly modern updated variant of the T-62PM Main Battle Tank, this is the definitive version of the tank, this tank even has a static 76mm secondary cannon mounted in the chassis that can be used in case that the main 115mm cannon is severely damaged or destroyed, also this Mk. X update comes with a camouflage that can fit almost perfectly with Wright Island, and Krakabloa Island enviroment, also has a very superior combat performance, all the usage instructions come all In-Game, PLEASE read the manual before using it, i made it with all my love, if you like the tank, or find any problem with it, please don't hesitate to tell me, i'll be reading y'all :3

T-62PM Historical Lore

The U.S.S.R. saw the great success of NATO tanks like the Centurion Mk. 5/1 RAAC, AMX-30, M60 Patton, and many others during the late 60s in the Cold War, so they decided to take a stock variant of the T-62A Main Battle Tank and modified it.

They modified the Turret for a more armored one, with an extended Ammunition Rack to amplify its ammunition capabilities

And the Result...

The T-62PM Mk. I

The T-62PM Mk.I has been involucred into many tests about Mobility, Firepower, Resistance, and Combat Performance. Many of these tests were approved, but the T-62PM Mk.I had other issues, its low maneuverability lead to had a terrible Off-Road Performance, and it never could travel straight because of its asymmetrical design and Center of Mass*.

So the soviet engineers worked in a redisign, they worked hard in Blueprints, and they found the solution, they modified the original T-62 Chassis based in the body of the T-55, making it more lighter, versatile, and more easy to move, they also redisigned the turret, and maked and Enhanced version of the U-5TS 2A20 115 mm Smoothbore cannon, adding a muzzle brake that enhanced significantly the tank's cannon accuracy, and the result...

T-62PM Mk. II

This updated variant of the T-62PM was significantly better, with much better movility, turret controls, and firepower.

It also became the most well-known variant because of its unique, and rare design, making it seem like a non-soviet tank, during Field Tests, it demonstrated much different results in comparison of its Mk.I older brother, it had passed majority of tests, except only one, the Resistance Test .

Because of its weak frontal armor, plus having no sides protection, it was later improved by the soviets... But something horrible occurred*

The T-62PM Mk. III Blueprints were stolen and destroyed by rebels, and the stressed engineers worked in the Mk.IV Directly, but the tank's only improvements were only two more machine guns mounted in the turret, this was useless to improve its resistance and armor, they instead rushed to the Mk.IX.

T-62PM Mk. IX

This version came with seriously dedicated enhancements.

This new update came with an implemented Dozer Blade to increase the tank's ramming performance, this was a successfully, but this caused a decrease to the tank's Off-Road Capabilities, but also increased its armor and protection, specifically its frontal armor, it also came with a top-cannon digital reticle device to improve and assist the gunner's accuracy

But still with all these updates, it was still not enough to level up with the NATO modern tanks, so the soviet engineers decided that they would make a final update.

Now this update was able to complete the enough and even more requirements to level up with the modern-era NATO tanks, this update version of the T-62PM was even superior to several armored vehicles, and even modernized versions of the T-62 like the T-62M2, and T-62MV, it had enought armor to stop a APFSDS from 105mm to 120mm, and even with the Dozer Blade it adds extra frontal armor and protection, and also comes with equipment, rations, and even equiped with a Flak 30mm Anti-Aircraft cannon for aerial defense of the vehicle, and even a high caliber Anti-Aircraft machine gun was mounted in the right side of the turret to combat incoming infantry, it also comes with a secondary 76mm cannon in the frontal upper plate of the Chassis, equiped with 76mm HE rounds that offers secondary fire if the main 115mm Cannon is destroyed, also the 115mm smoothbore Main Cannon was calibrated with its vertical stabilizer.

The Barrel was also lenghtened to increase its accuracy, only very few of these prototypes were built, but they can still have a extremely great performance in modern-day combat, over 40 units were built and still on production, this tank can also be chosen in its 3 different camouflages:
