Here's some information about the Rhino Tank:

The Rhino, or M-145D Mobile Artillery Assault Platform as it is officially called, is a special vehicle as it is the first successful attempt by the UNSC to reverse engineer Covenant technology. It uses plasma projectiles rather than shells. The Rhino was rare as it was expensive but it saw use in taking down heavy Covenant shields. To use its cannon the Rhino goes into "Lockdown" mode in which it is immobile. This, and the fact it is even wider than a Scorpion tank (the Rhino is 9 metres wide) also contribute to its scarcity.
