I built something else for another project and this is a byproduct of that other project, so I decided to complete this initially incomplete build and upload it before the main posts arrive.

Description

The BRDM-2 (Boyevaya Razvedyvatelnaya Dozornaya Mashina, literally "Combat Reconnaissance/Patrol Vehicle") is an amphibious armoured scout car made by the Soviet Union, It is known under the designations BTR-40PB, BTR-40P-2 and GAZ 41-08. This vehicle, like many other Soviet designs, has been exported extensively and is in use in at least 38 countries. It was intended to replace the older BRDM-1, and has improved amphibious capabilities and better armament compared to its predecessor.

The vehicle had a large, box shaped hull with a boat-like front section just like it's predecessor the BRDM-1, it is powered by a GAZ-41 gasoline V8 engine located in the rear of the vehicle which powered both the wheels and the water jet for propulsion in water, it had 4 large main wheels and 4 smaller belly wheels to assist in trench crossing and other difficult terrain, it's armor had a thickness of 2-14mm and is armed with a 14.5mm KPVT heavy machine gun and a 7.62mm PKT machine gun as coaxial, housed in a small turret taken from the BTR-60, and it has a crew of four: a driver, a co-driver, a commander, and a gunner.

The BRDM-2 remains in service today as a light reconnaissance and fire support vehicle, many variants of the BRDM-2 has been created over it's service life, such as the BRDM-2UM unarmed command vehicle, the 9P122 Malyutka missile carrier, and the 9P31 launcher vehicle for the 9M31 surface-to-air missile, as part of the 9K31 Strela-1 (SA-9 "Gaskin") vehicle-mounted low-altitude SAM system.

Note

The auto aim only works best on flat terrain against both air and ground targets, also the vehicle is a little bit too fast, the real BRDM-2 can only go up to 100km/h or so, this one goes... 260km/h
