P-37 Balestra

4,880 JB56  3.9 years ago

This is the last of my three designs that are built around an air cooled V engine. The P-37 has the largest and most powerful engine of the three, with an output of 750HP. Like the P-17 and the P-77, weight and drag reduction was emphisied in design. The frontal area was kept as small as possable by making a tight fitting cowling around the engine and the wings were kept as thin as they could be while retaining strength. The aircrafts guns were also kept light, with only two .50 caliber machine guns being put in the nose. This aircraft is one of the most complex ive ever made, with working flaps, and a fully detialed engine under the cowling. The cockpit is fully detailed with working controls. Enjoy.
