the 12 Redwood Class DDGs were commissioned in 1974 as part of the New fleet program. Each ship was outfitted with 2x 130mm mk 81 guns (ag1) 1 ASROC 8-cell. 1 Sea Sparrow platform (pitch and roll) and a host of radar and countermeasure systems, they would see action until 2001. when the last ship, ANS Statikk, was decommissioned. ANS Redwood is a muesum ship in Acea as of 2024.
