Milano F.1

495 Hellsverg  1.7 years ago

A single-seat, lightweight, high-performance fighter interceptor purpose-built for total airspace domination.

The Milano is the perfect choice for customers looking for a lighter, cheaper, faster alternative to the prominent Starjumper series of fighter interceptors. Utilizing a close-coupled canard delta design, it provides excellent maneuverability at both high and low speeds. Advanced in-built avionics ensures minimal energy loss even in high AoA maneuvers.

Features a fully functional afterburner system that engages at 100% throttle, an automatic anti-slip/anti-spin system, adaptive elevon deflection rate for better control at high speeds, and a fully configurable targeting pod carried under a fuselage pylon for strike missions.

The Milano is armed with a default of two 30mm rotary cannons capable of firing up to 1,200 rpm. It carries 4x active radar homing missiles, complemented with 2x high off-boresight infrared homing missiles for close-range dogfights. Ground strike options include 2x anti-radiation missiles, complemented with 2x unguided rocket pods (7x 127mm rockets per pod).
