A common sight in the skies of the 30's, this trimotor was originally made as a fast, long range airliner. It could easily sit between 8 to 12 people inside it's luxurious interior, and had an ample amount of space for amenities. It had become especially popular in more extreme areas such as deserts and mountains for also being powerful enough to take off quickly while carrying heavy cargo (for airplanes at the time) as well. The design served long into the 20th century in multiple roles for it's ruggedness and ease of maintenance, the last flying one finally retiring in the 80s.

I haven't been active here on SP lately cause of life getting in the way, and also cause of something I'm planning to start soon here. For now, have this neat old trimotor I thought up. I designed it with the lines of the S.M. 73 and Ju 52 in mind, and it's also something civilian as a change of tone for a bit. I highly encourage you to come up with your own paint schemes and share them :)
Oh yeah, I will make a bomber version of this soon, for those who have been thinking it would be fun as one. Enjoy!

VTOL for flaps

I've also made a twin motor one and a magenta-colored one!
Here they are. Click the links above the pictures to check them out yourself!
