Realizing the need of precision artillery on the modern battlefield the wright minister of defense issued a contract for an MRL with high speed like the HIMARS, but cheaper. The specifications were changed after no one wanted to develop one. Wright Armaments already worked on an HE-FS round with guidance for Artillery to use, so they started work on this SPG. Halfway through the developing progress the naming system changed to “Wright Armaments [Vehicle type]-[Number starting from 1] Nickname” (for example: Wright Armaments SPG-1 Borealis). The Borealis was originally developed to fight insurgents and such things in Snowstone, but the optimal environment got changed after Krakabola ordered some to fight their insurgents. This Self-propelled Gun carrier was involved in the Invasion of Krakabola (used by Krakabola under the code name “KE-GV-1A” (Krakabolan engineers Ground vehicle 1A)) under the Pfister regime.
