TIE-SSX

The TIE/SSX is a Space Superior Fighter/Interceptor designed in late 3 ABY

Significantly dangerous "X-Wing" fighters had begun to completely destroy the Empire's Space Superiority, so the Empire wanted a fighter that could be used against the "X-Wings"

The "X-Wings" or T-65Bs designed by the Incom Corporation for the Empire were abducted by the rebels early in the Civil War, so Incom engineers were blamed.

By some means, the Empire reached the spare Blueprints of the T-65B and transferred them to Sienar Fleet Systems. Sienar Fleet Systems reached out to several Incom Corporation engineers who were freelance and were involved in the design of the T-65B, and the design process began.

Despite the opposition of Emperor Palpatine and many high-ranking Officers, the project was completed thanks to Thrawn's support.

However, after only 3 squadrons entered service (Shadow SQ, Patriot SQ.Korps SQ), the Empire was overthrown.

TIE/SSX was used on a limited basis during "Thrawn Campaing" but was completely forgotten after Thrawn's death.
