First ever (working) power pulling sled on simpleplanes

1,432 fordzilla  7.1 years ago
Auto Credit Based on fordzilla's Heavy Duty Work Truck

This is the first working power pulling sled to be created on simpleplanes. Hook this beast up to one of your trucks, add some weight, and watch the truck struggle as the weight reaches the front. Ive added an elevation/slope adjuster on the sled for maximum efficiency. if needed, this thing is able to drive itself back to the line up. Make the engine you pull the sled with act 1. Controls: act2 VTOL& TRIM to adjust height and slope of weight. act3 to steer and start engine for sled. act 7 throttle up brings the front wheels up. act 8 throttle up sends the weight forward

@fordzilla Wow! This is genius! I've been putting my trucks up to the test with this, so far only a few made it halfway through bandit airport. There's an issue though. the front part snaps off alot when you pull the front wheels up, so I just keep AG 7 off because of that. Other than that flaw, I'm amazed with this.

@FarrowAirlines 10 wheels and 200k hp... that thing is insane, you know what that means... increase the weight on the sled

@FarrowAirlines you have to put the front wheels up and move the weight forward.. trust me, it will slow down or stop

@FarrowAirlines basically you get high powered vehicles like trucks and tractors making 2000+ hp that hook this "sled" to their vehicle while on a smooth dirt lane. The vehicle then has to pull it as far as possible while the weight moves forward causing the front to dig into the ground bringing the vehicle to a stop. The vehicle to go the furthest Is the winner. If you search power sled on YouTube you can find some really cool vids

@SkullsAndCrossbones all I gotta do is bump up the grip to 1000 on a 4x4 and that should work... or completely destroy everything
