Avalon Galewind

Backstory
"On March 1935, The Air Ministry Called For A Heavily Armed Aircraft, Consisting Of Eight Wing-Mounted 0.303-inch (7.7-mm) Machine Guns, Thus The Galewind Was Created."

"Compromising Instead With 6 Wing-Mounted Of Higher Calibre, The Avalon Was A Great Multirole Aircraft. It Had Functionality Both As A Ground Attack Fighter, Escort Fighter, And Bomber Interceptor. While Initially Thought Promising With It’s Strong Firepower & Versatility, The Galewind Had High Operational Cost And As Such Was Not Suitable For Mass Production. Multiple Obscure Variants Emerged, And Galewinds Never Went Past Mk-1’s "

Extra Notes

  1. Edited Livery & Paint Scheme To Look Similar To A Standard WWII Hawker Hurricane Mk1 (+Aesthetics)

  2. Added 3x Custom Wing Guns To Each Wing (+Firepower)

  3. Removed The Jet Engine, And Replaced It With A Propellor & Slim Inlet (+Realism)

  4. Adjusted The Landing Gear System To Make Landing Easier (+Handling)

  5. I’ll Be Attempting To Also Create A Bombing And Reconnaissance Variant In The Foreseeable Future (+Quantity)

  6. Finally, Major Credits To Showtime Who’s Aircraft I Used As A Base (+Proper Credit)
