This oddball speedster is a mash-up of early French jet designs — hunched shoulders, long nose, and wings swept back like it’s always ready to bolt. That’s where the name came from.
It flies pretty fast on its own, but here’s the trick: go full throttle, and it kicks into afterburner mode, blasting past Mach 1 like it’s showing off. Think of it as a special attack, uhh, I mean ability? :v Although it guzzles fuel like it'’s free lemonade. Kingfisher often flies as fast as commercial planes in it's cruising flight state, but whenever at full throttle, it will zoom, swerve, and make people say, "Wait, —what was that?".
