Feel free to include these in your build, just make sure to link this page and give me the credit! :)

Fairly mobile friendly rocket launchers. For your cold-war western jets or attack choppers.
Loose replicas of LAU-10 4-tube Zuni pod, as well as LAU-3 19-tube 70mm rocket pod. Easy to install and low-physics proof.

LAU-10 - 4-tube pod, 5 inch FFAR "Zuni"

45 parts (9 parts for pod, 9 parts a rocket)

-Custom rocket with possibly kinda realistic performance

-Rocket top speed roughly 2,599 km/h (Rocket loses speed pretty quick)

-Pod is 2.36m long and 35cm (0.35m) in diameter
(Got reference from a model building site)

-Drag disabled

-Built with auto-lock/lock-on free missile firing technique from Reuben201103, as explained here by ThomasRoderick: https://www.simpleplanes.com/Forums/View/1264990/Auto-lock-missiles-and-how-to-make-them

*Due to game physics, these custom rockets often don't collide with the map, but simply go through the ground. It will almost always explode when hitting a ship, land vehicle or aircrafts, so a good aim is rewarded.

LAU-3(/A) - 19-tube pod, 70mm FFAR "Mighty Mouse"

9 parts (made of 3 rocket pods & some cosmetic parts)

-Has 21 rockets, but won't fire more than 19 thanks to master-mage class Funky wizardly (exaggeration)

-Rapid firing

-Pod is 1.27m long, and 40.6cm (16 inch) in diameter. Weighs 204kg full. (Dimensions from a listing of surplus pod (empty!), weight from somewhere online)

-No nose cap (woulda took too many parts to get a realistic shape)

-Drag disabled

*Do not mix Twin and Quad versions.
They have different "off" triggers.
Use Twin if you're gonna have 2 pods, and use Quad if you want to have 4.
*Tip of the rocket should stick out on the real thing, but unfortunately that wasn't possible to replicate without going high on part count.
*Army version (for AH-1 and stuff) was named XM159

19 rockets thing was achieved by a simple (de)activation FT that disables the pods once the remaining ammo count is 4 (for twin pods load out) or 8 (for 4 pods). If, for some incomprehensible Lovecraftian reasons, you want o use just 1, single pod on your aircraft, open the xml of rocket pods and replace "4" with "2" (do it for all pods)... Weirdo.
The use of labels for "tube holes" was inspired by creative label uses of other builders.

Just kidding, you aren't weird for wanting to use one pod on your craft, you are insane! *ba-dum (Funny joke, buwahaha...)

Also comes with a rocket pod slightly edited to better resemble LAU-32 for 70mm FFAR, as well as a crappy 6-round HVAR rack.

Stats of LAU-3/A with nose cap I found online, for anyone who wants to make capped version:
(don't ask me to make one, else I'll block you!).
LAU-3/A (with nose cap)
-7 feet 3 inch long (2.2098m)
-16 inch diameter (0.4064m)
-78lbs empty/469lbs full

P.S.
Just wanna remind you/us that these are an imitations of actual weapons of war, stuff that kill people, and can or have caused suffering. Blowing stuff up in a game is definitely fun, and I think it's perfectly ok, but we must not forget that fact. I think it's a good thing to have this reminder every now and then, and think about it.

First, you have to save the pod as "sub assembly."
Grab the thing (rocket pod), and drop it to the blue box on top left of the screen. Give it a name, and click save. Now, this thing is saved as a sub assembly, and you can get it any time from "Sub Assemblies" in the Parts menu.
