Miles M39D VTOL

This is the next model of my Miles "Libellula" series. I adapted my previous M39D model and used the centre engine for VTOL rather than forward thrust.

It is quite stable -

AG 1 to activate VTOL thrusters and nozzles, power up to about 20-25% and pull the nose all the way back until it steadies. It has a tendency to nose forward.

AG2 activates the wingpod turbojets and will the bring the aircraft up to 650mph+ in level flight when combined with the VTOL engine (on their own its about 450)

The VTOL intake door in the centre of the fuselage is operated with the trim tab on the right. I have left it to about 85 degrees of rotation on the hinge to leave it slightly open to intake for level flight but if you want it flush then set it to 90.

If you like the look of this plane, please check ouy my others and give it anm upvote! Thanks
