The P-48C or Prop-48Custom only has enough fuel to make 4 1/2- 5 1/2 round trips between Yeager Airport and Bandit Airport(if you know how to glid the plane). The plane does start tipping down in flight. The fuel solages(how ever you spell it) are boyant so as long as the plane has thouse you can float they also hold the majority of the fuel. Nothing complex like the VTOL controls are added.
