DRQ-40 “Vandal” – Tactical Wingmate. Strategic Disruptor.

The DRQ-40 Vandal is a next-gen autonomous drone platform designed for multi-domain dominance and force extension. Whether flying as a loyal wingman, autonomous hunter, or in-the-sky trailer system, the DRQ-40 redefines combat support and rapid strike utility across land, sea, and air.

With a standard cruising speed of 780–920 mph, the Vandal maintains high operational efficiency, boasting a range of 2,200 miles or eight hours of continuous flight. In high-speed mode, both engines engage, allowing the drone to surge to a top speed of 2,300 mph for fast intercepts or retreat scenarios.

What makes the DRQ-40 exceptional is its modular multi-role design:
• Primary Role: Operate as a regional priority enforcer, able to track and engage multiple land, sea, or air targets simultaneously using advanced targeting algorithms.
• Support Role: Function as an in-flight relay and energy platform, extending the operational range and combat effectiveness of larger aircraft like the F-47 Tempest.
• Last-Resort Role: Capable of high-speed ramming or self-destruct detonation if ordered, preventing capture or creating a high-value point denial.

The Vandal carries three primary weapons systems:

A twin continuous-beam infrared laser, identical to those on the F-79 and XA-20, providing instant, light-speed engagement out to 15 miles.

Micro-missile pods with contact-explosive shredburst payloads for anti-air, anti-drone, and soft target suppression.

Two deployable miniature-nuclear payloads, with a flash radius of 0.25 miles, designed for instantaneous elimination of ground targets, battlefield disruption, or instant area denial. These are not strategic nukes—but tactical scalpel strikes. These do you have the possibility of air to airstrikes, but it is not recommended.

Constructed from the same graphite-coated carbon fiber and recycled titanium composite as the F-79, the DRQ-40 is light, survivable, and hardened for hostile environments. It can be launched from land or carrier decks, with a full readiness time of under 20 minutes.

The Vandal is multi-pilot capable, AI-autonomous, and hive-link compatible. It’s not just a drone—it’s a 6.5-generation tactical ghost built to extend the hand of modern air power anywhere, at any time.
