Broadside Mk.4 Cruise Missile Launcher

1,475 crxtsp  7.5 years ago

Improved on the original, now with more capable suspension, though slower. VTOL down drops the stance and increases camber, only use on flat courses to keep from tipping, VTOL up can be used to fold wheels in and will tip vehicle if on side. Also used when attempting a vertical launch with the detatched trailer

To launch cruise missile : Come to a stop, hold brake throughout missile flight, Brake is missile thrust. Raise launcher with TRIM down fully (also keeps missile pitch up in flight). With the brake still held down, press 1 to ignite the engine, thrust will build up and the blast shield will move in position to protect the cockpit. When the rear wheels begin to raise off the ground or when the blast shield is in position press 2 to launch missile. Wait too long and the vehicle will tip over. Press F5 to switch to missile camera. Don't forget to keep holding brake, and immediately pull back on the pitch to keep the flight level after launch. When your missile has reached its target you can press 3 to deploy parachute also release brake to cut engine.
4 will activate turret controls.
5 will detatch from the missile launcher trailer, useful if you need a decoy and the main vehicle can make a getaway. When you launch detatched the missile can arc higher (though ends up with less fuel aboard)
