The owl mk.Ib was the main fighter of angolia during 1940 and early 1941 it was designed in 1933 the prototype was biult in 1934 and an order for 500 owl mk.Is was placed by the raaf (royal Angolian air force)in 1935. The production of the owl would continue till july 1943 when it was replaced by a new fighter.
