The M1A2 SEPV3 Abrams (formerly M1A2C) is one of the most modern mass produced tanks within the US military's current arsenal. With improved power generation and distribution, communications, IED protection, Airburst shells and generally a bunch of stuff to bring the Abrams into the modern battlefield.

In early 2020 the Australian Defence Force has confirmed that the Royal Australian Armoured Corps will be receiving the M1A2 SEPV3 sometime in the early 2020s to coincide with the current replacement and upgrading of outdated Australian military technology.
