Short Scion (Scale 1:1)

764 adenthie  7.0 years ago

Built by Short aircraft co. in the mid 30's, the scion, much like the Monospar, was a cruiser and short haul airliner. I have built one like this in the past on Simple Planes but it didn't fly well at all. So I completely rebuilt it. These aircraft, as well as the Monospars, were fitted with 2 pobjoy niagra's which were radial engines with an offset prop. This one flies really well. AG-1 Landing lights.

I'm paranoid about modern airliners. I would freak out if I was on that plane.@adenthie
