Auto Credit Based on omeganugget's canards challenge

The VAC-150 was the first pusher-propeller aircraft to have canards. However, peaceful developments were absent, as VDB workers argued if the canards should have control surfaces. However, 1 worker suggested that they build one variant without control surfaces on the canards and another with control surfaces on the canards. This suggestion led to the VAC-150 A and B. However, it was not very reliable. It was tricky on takeoff, where it could not leave the ground after pitching up on the runway and having to get to the end of the runway to takeoff. Its low manouverability served for a role of high altitude subsonic spying. However, it was slow and was vulnerable to S.A.M missiles that were developed in the Sealands War. VAC-150s served for only 6 years, starting development in 1954 and retiring in 1960. It was considered underpowered and was not used much unlike the VAC-170, a transonic high altitude spy aircraft. The VAC-444 and other aircraft served in the Sealands War as well, taking down up to 12 aircraft.
