Heinkel He 112
The Heinkel He 112 was a German single-seat, single-engine monoplane fighter developed in the 1930s by Ernst Heinkel Flugzeugwerke. Designed by brothers Walter and Siegfried Günter, it was one of four aircraft competing for the Luftwaffe’s 1933 fighter contract, but ultimately lost out to the Messerschmitt Bf 109, which went on to become the Luftwaffe’s primary fighter in World War II. Only about 100 He 112s were built in total.
The aircraft featured an all-metal construction with an enclosed cockpit, retractable landing gear, and distinctive elliptical/“reverse gull” wings, which gave it good aerodynamic performance for the era and solid handling characteristics compared to many older biplanes and early monoplanes.
Operationally, the He 112 saw limited service. Small numbers were used briefly by the Luftwaffe before being exported or sold to countries including Spain, Romania, Hungary, and Japan. In Spain during the Spanish Civil War the type performed both air-to-air and ground-attack missions, though by the outbreak of full-scale World War II it was largely obsolete and relegated to training or secondary roles.
I'm so sorry there above currently is the only nickname i found and no more information about any aircraft's nicknames. But just add yours in the comments, let's discuss :)
