I found this while playing around and showing my friend the Overload mod. I found a cool way to make a burst of color and light, and this is unlike any firework you have ever seen.
Steps:
1. Set time to night, make sure you are in an open space.
2. Activate air-to-ground/air.
3. Press AG 1.
4. When at highest point, press AG 2 and Fire Guns button.
5. Be amazed. Be very amazed.
