Flying Table v.2

The Flying Table is an experimental rotor craft. The propulsion and control systems are a hybrid. The four top rotors provide lift and the smaller propellors push it forward. There is a rotator on each of the props to redirect them to change direction. This is controlled by the VTOL. ( Before flight make sure the Rotators for the props set to Inverted: Yes. This is essential for control and does not always stay set properly.) The Trim controls some small tabs. By rotating these tabs slightly upward and lowering the throttle, the rate of rise or descent can be reduced. To take off push the throttle to 50 percent and then reduce to forty. This is a slow machine but that is the beauty of it. It floats like an airship. Some of the dirigibles used propellors like this. Instead of rotating up and down, these steer. Climb and descent is achieved through throttle control. I added some parachutes. This allows for a targeted landing. Looking straight down, stop the motors and allow it to drop. At 2000 feet press 1. It lands gently. Press 1 to drop the chutes and take off again. There is also a camera at the end of a mast that gives a good downward view. It is a strange looking machine, but it flys.
