this might not be the most realistic locomotive ever made looks wise, but it is in another way.

This is actually powered by the motion and pistons, and it is not a trick. The valvegear times the pistons, and the jets fire in sync with the valvegear. Which means that this is the most realistic sounding and working steam engine in simpleplanes.

It gets its traction from the wheels, which grip the rails, that means it is actually driving under it's own power. The wheels are only there so this does not derail.
