AH-72A Lakota

Meet the Lakota, she’s beauty AND the beast all in one. Having dual pusher-props to accelerate to 400+ mph and have enough armament to level half a city, the Lakota is no regular helicopter. The props are even thrust-vectored to preform astounding feats of acrobatics... have you ever seen a chopper do somersaults and cartwheels?

To lift off : Max throttle then raise VTOL to maximum to change the collective pitch. Control is the same as any other helicopter until - Activate AG3 for pusher props, and watch as you accelerate to stupid fast speeds. Don’t forget to disable the gyro which is AG8. At around 300-350mph, center VTOL and fly it like a regular plane. A little trim is needed to maintain level flight using autopilot. To land, disable the pusher props and slow down to a hover. If you really need help AG1 is the hover gyro (or can be autopilot in level high speed flight)

Probably the best flying helicopter I have flown in SP. Mucho thanks to @Leehopard for creating such a solid foundation and realistic flight model.

For some reason it didn’t auto credit @leehopard for his OG build. I just made it go fast and blow things up @breitling
